My friend Emanuel was attending a series of lessons I conducted. The subject was “Jesus the High Priest of Our Confession.” The heart of the teaching contained two main principles. The first is Jesus intercedes for us (Hebrews 7:25) The second is when we are seeking God for something He promised to do, we hold on until it happens(Hebrews 10:23). Emanuel was seeking God to remove a stage 4 cancerous tumor on his brain. He had already gone through surgery and some other treatments this past spring. Emanuel was scheduled for an MRI at the time he began to hear the teaching. Emanuel and his faith filled wife were believing God for their miracle. The doctors were planning to tell him how much time he had left. Jesus had a different plan. When the MRI results came in Jesus had done His thing. There is no trace of cancer anywhere in Emanuel’s body. Praise Jesus for His love, and faith honoring miracle. God is so good.

Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Hebrews 10:23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
