Acts 3:20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of RESTORATION of ALL THINGS, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

There will be a time when all things will be restored by Jesus. The thing we must remember is Jesus is at work restoring things now. I offer the following true story as proof.

Jim’s father was a player/womanizer. He played around on his wife, until he found what he thought was a better deal. Jim’s father moved out, leaving his wife and six children. Jim’s father was gone for about six months.

During that time, Jim’s mother was praying for the restoration of all things. Jim’s father, right in the middle of his mess, started reading scripture. He had never had a relationship with Christ. One day without anyone knowing or expecting, Jim’s father came home, and dropped his suitcases in the foyer. He said: “The Lord told me to come home.” Nobody said a word. Jim, however, was very angry. Who is this Jesus that sent my father home? Jim began reading scripture in order to prove his father wrong. He made it to Matthew chapter 10. Jim let Jesus into his heart, forgave his father, and they established a loving relationship. Jim spent many years as a Pastor, author, and international speaker, before going to be with Jesus. When God restores, He fixes everything.
