THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Repentance Feels Good”

When you surrender your life to Jesus you can expect two things among many. Your life right now will begin to improve. While there will still be challenges, because Jesus is living on the inside of you, you will never feel alone again. All of us are spirit beings or eternal beings. Repenting and giving your life into The Lord’s hands means you get to live with Him forever. At the end of this life things will go from time into eternity. There will be no end to the bliss you experience forever in His presence. When you ask Jesus to forgive you, and come into your heart, then you will understand the title of this blog. Repentance really does feel good.

Matthew 3:1-3
3 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” 3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight.’”

Mark 1:14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
