THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Every Tear Is Saved In His Bottle”

Have you ever really had your heart broken? Something that broke you down in a way beyond description. Thoughts of recovering from the trauma seemed impossible because nothing brought you any comfort. Pain at that level can occur through many circumstances. Perhaps even now as you are reading this you are experiencing anguish you cannot put into words. The Lord wants you to know He understands, and you are not alone in your pain. Every tear you cry God saves in remembrance of what you have suffered or are suffering. We have a heavenly promise that God will always be with us. No matter how many times life has made you feel like your pain is insurmountable, God was there in the past, and He will be there for you now. It is ok to cry cause God declared: “I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”

Psalm 56:8
8 You have taken account of my wanderings;
Put my tears in Your bottle.
Are they not in Your book? (NASB)

Isaiah 43:1-3
43 Now this is what the Lord says.
He created you, people of Jacob;
he formed you, people of Israel.
He says, “Don’t be afraid, because I have saved you.
I have called you by name, and you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.
When you cross rivers, you will not drown.
When you walk through fire, you will not be burned,
nor will the flames hurt you.
3 This is because I, the Lord, am your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I gave Egypt to pay for you,
and I gave Cush and Seba to make you mine. (NCV)

Zechariah 9:12
12 Come back to the place of safety,
all you prisoners who still have hope!
I promise this very day
that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles. (NLT)
