THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “A Better Day”

THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “A Better Day”

Because of what Jesus did on Calvary no matter what I face in this life I know a better one is coming. What occurred in the spirit realm because he rose gave me the power to have a better day living inside me. My heart has been broken many times. People have lied on me and disappointed me. I’ve had illnesses that tried to take my life. Several dangerous close calls almost ended my life early. Before Christ, sin in my life put me on such a destructive path you would have thought I had a death wish. I’m saved but still flawed, and get frustrated because of fears and weaknesses. A glorious moment in my life is coming when none of this will matter. The struggle will be over when time goes into eternity. Those left behind will be sad and possibly have many questions. I wont have any questions just joy unspeakable. I’ll have never ending freedom from pain of any kind. Just think, even the simplest things like body temperature will be perfect forever. Life void of any concern whatsoever. All made possible because I said Jesus what you did for me on that cross, and in your resurrection I accept as enough to get me to paradise. 2015 is going to be a good year, but in many ways if I’m honest it will be more of the same. We live in a fallen broken world that is supposed to look and act as it does. Remembering there is a job to do while passing through is important, but in those weary moments remembering what’s waiting on the other side is fuel for the fire that must burn within.

John 3:16
16 “For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall
not perish, but have eternal life. (NASB)

Romans 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised
Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He
who raised Christ Jesus from the dead
will also give life to your mortal
bodies through His Spirit who dwells
in you. (NASB)
