THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Easter’s Ham”

JJM
So often we participate in traditions without knowing their origins. The history of the Easter ham is interesting. The resurrection of Jesus being called Easter has an interesting origin as well, especially since it is someone’s name and isn’t translated to have any association with my Lord. Why does the date change each year? The answer to these three things is all connected and very easy to find. You’ve got to look deep enough, though, so you don’t find some happy holiday site that takes you back just a few years, but not as far as Genesis chapter 10. I apologize for my mood; it’s just hard to do apologetics with a leg to stand on. However, if you never share your faith with true pagans nothing you will discover from research will matter to you. It’s just hard to do my job with Tammuz and his mother Simiramus getting all of the attention during the current full moon. Much Luv!
