THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Past & Present”

THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Past & Present”

The two people in this picture are mother and son. Laura Nelson was simply trying to keep her son Lawrence from being raped by several White men. The end result was both Laura and her son being lynched. Why look into an incident that happened so long ago? Isn’t this kind of thing in our distant past? The answer is actually no. On the Jackie Jackson Ministries Radio Show we are exploring the results of people who are still hurting because atrocities much like this one are in their history. Stories told by the elderly to the next generation. People are in pain because of this and the brutality that still potentially can happen to them everyday. I was just listening to a national bishop (Keith Butler) this morning explaining to his Black congregations what to do so that they can live through a police encounter. People need to be able to grieve/lament over the things that have already occurred, and also find ways to cope with what happens to Black people every 28 hours in this country. Join me on the radio as we explore what happens when Christian Black & White people begin to work in concert to resolve oppression.

THE NATION OF PEOPLE THAT DID THIS IS VILE AND PROFANE BEAST. HEBREWS 12:16-17.

THIS PEOPLE OR NATION ARE THE MOST WICKED ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. JOB 9:24.

THEY HATE RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND HATE THE WORD OF GOD, AND HATE THE CREATOR… PSALM 50:16-17

THE SON OF PERDITION AND A DEVIL (DECEIVER) THE BUILD HIS CITY ON THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, OUGHT TO BE DESTROYED. “12 Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!” (Habakkuk 2:12).

THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, SHALL DESTROY THE WICKED KINGDOM (AS DID SODOM & GOMORRAH) – AMOS 9:8.THIS NATION SHALL BE CUT OFF FOR EVER (oBADIAH 1:1-18)
