THOUGHTS FROM JACKIE: “Crossing Over”

When reflecting it’s easy to see that 2017 has had its share of challenges. There are times it seemed you might not make it to the end of the year. Often you felt you were drowning in one problem or another. As the saying goes “But God.” Every moment whether we were aware or not goodness and mercy followed us. The car that got out of the way just in time wasn’t luck. The issues on the job that got resolved didn’t happen because you are a great diplomat. How about that fight with your spouse making you feel like it might be over. Your marriage bed isn’t sweet now because you can fix anything on your own. It was Jesus protecting you, prospering you, and always showing love when we deserve it the least. Your special to God. That’s why you have navigated your way through another year. So as you cross over to 2018 I’ve got a resolution to begin the year’s fresh journey. Make it a priority to praise Jesus for the seen and unseen acts of love He sends your way. At the end each day say thank you for preventing the bad and guiding you to the good. Just like 2017 in 2018 troubles will come. The difference this year is that you will do a better job of expressing that you know it’s not a solo effort. Much Luv!
