Jobs problem is that much of what he did was filled with fear and not faith. This resulted in Job receiving the disaster he expected. It is in chapter 42 that he realizes his own error & that his accusations against God as the cause of his calamity are wrong. So many people read the book of Job & see God & the devil gambling with Job’s life. Job was already in sin before the devil ever approached God. To fear is sin. It says that God will not do what He promised for you. Once Job saw fear as sin not only did he get back what he lost, but became a billionaire by our modern standards. God intends to do everything He says He’ll do. In every situation you find yourself in God is always asking one question; “Do you trust me?”

Job 3:25-26 – NASB. “For what I fear comes upon me, And what I dread befalls me. “I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, And I am not at rest, but turmoil comes.”
